Imma make a suggestion. We have a four day weekend. Let's try to get a board game going that we wouldn't normally play due to time constraints. I'm thinking either Diplomacy, BSG, Power Grid, Risk, or anything else I can't think of. If we play diplomacy, it's easy to spread out over multiple days or whatevs.
Leave a response of what game you would like to play and when you would be available.

ReplyDeleteAlso, we are rapidly approaching the half way point in our lease. I figured that we might want to do some repairs next weekend that really bring the house back to tip top shape. Things that can be worked on:
1. Cleaning the gunk off the floor
2. Sanding and staining the floors where furniture has gouged out chunks of the wood.
3. Placing pads on the bottoms of all of our furniture to prevent more gouges.
4. Wiping down the walls.
5. Spackling and repainting the walls where necessary (need permission from the Rash)
6. Seeing if we can mount the lights in the living room
7. Sealing up the various cracks to prevent heat leakage.
8. Mounting heavy curtains in the upstairs bedrooms to prevent heat leakage. (Pretty cold compared to the downstairs and basement)
9. Turning off and emptying the exterior pipes to prevent freeze damage
10. Putting thicker curtains (or any curtains in the case of the kitchen/dining room) on the main floor
11. Cleaning the common areas and staircases.
12. Cleaning up the fireplace
13. Other miscellaneous
What days work for people?
I'm free all weekend, and would love to help. I'm headed to Target after work today, so put together a list of cleaning supplies and I'll grab them.

I would play Diplomacy or BSG. Busy on Saturday until mid-afternoon. Afterwards, I'm up for anything.
